Liza Burkin is a graduate of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While in between adventures, she is the Communications Associate at the American Camp Association of New England. Liza is freelance writer focusing on sustainable food and the environment. She is also a gardener, music lover, and pedicab rider in Newport.
Jesse Hedberg is a professional bartender. He’s worked at and developed bar programs for numerous Rhode Island bars and restaurants, some receiving attention from the New York Times and the James Beard Foundation. Jesse has won numerous cocktail competitions locally and has gone on to compete nationally representing the state. He’s been featured in the media, including publications such as the Providence Journal, Edible Rhody, and GQ Magazine as well as spots on the Rhode Show and Drinking Made Easy with Zane Lamprey. He currently lives and works in Providence.
