Free classes for high school students at the RISD Museum of Art every Thursday in monthly sessions. Each monthly session focuses on specific themes and techniques. Explore how art and design can provoke fresh ideas, elicit conversation, and stimulate creativity. Meet at the 224 Benefit Street entrance, all materials provided.
SEPTEMBER: Architecture of Wonder // Private Spaces, Hidden Worlds
Navigate inner worlds, emotional spaces, and zones of fantasy through an exploration of imagined environments, forts and notions of home. We will then activate these spaces using a combination of design, model building, lighting, and photography.
3:30pm-6pm (3:30-4pm open studio time, 4pm-6pm class time).
