Families have an opportunity to discover new ways to look at art and to learn more about styles and artists.
For many of us, a line is the first mark we make. It is a huge developmental milestone when a young child’s first scribbles are set to the page (or wall!).
In this program, children ages 3-5 and their favorite grown-ups interact with art objects, exploring different cultures, the artistic process, and imagination side-by-side.
LeWitt likened his instructions to musical scores, which are realized in a new way every time they’re played, and it’s possible for LeWitt’s wall drawings to take slightly different forms, depending on how his directions are implemented.
