Think and Drink: Inventing Impressionism

January 19, 2017, 6 – 8 pm
Danforth Hall
  • Monetmeadows

Join Mellon Curatorial Fellow and exhibition co-curator, Britany Salsbury, for a gallery talk on the Inventing Impressionism exhibition which features some of the Museum’s best loved paintings, as well as seldom seen works on paper by Degas, Cassat, and others. Following the tour, enjoy a wine tasting led by Josh Shields from Bottles Fine Wine. Be reminded of warmer weather with a tasting of French white wines, primarily from Southern France, along with Pastis that came to popularity at the height of the Impressionist movement.

This event is sold out.

Please join us for the next Think and Drink on March 16 when we’ll explore Contemporary Art with curator Dominic Molon. Registrations open on February 1.

This is a 21 and over event. Space is limited and registration is requested.
