The RISD Museum is adjusting admission fees beginning September 12, 2017. All youth and children aged 18 and under are invited to visit the RISD Museum free of admission costs. A modest increase in adult daily admission charges enables us to make this commitment to the youngest among us and brings the Museum on par with pricing regionally. The cost of a guided visit with a Museum educator does not change. An adult must accompany minors under the age of 13.

“We are so pleased to offer the youth of our community free access to the RISD Museum collection,” says John W. Smith, director of the RISD Museum. “We continue to look for ways to engage the community with art and hope this effort demonstrates our commitment to that end.”

The Museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm each day with additional evening hours from 5 to 9 pm on the third Thursday of each month. Admission is charged Tuesday through Saturday. Admission fees are not charged on Sundays for all visitors, nor during the third Thursday evening hours.

Admission Rates, effective 9/12/17: Adults - $15 Seniors - $12 Youth - FREE Non-Member College - $8
