October 12, 2013, 2 – 3 pm
Contemporary Art Gallery

Photography by Delia Kovac

Part of Locally Made’s One Room.

In Demo & Discourse, artists, designers, and experts from across disciplines and mediums share examples of their work and talk about process.

Delia Kovac demonstrates her painterly technique of mono-screen printing. She will quickly print on fabric (with multiple screens and without registration hinges or clamps) building up multiple imperfectly printed graphic images.Delia Kovac

Free with museum admission.

Delia Kovac is an interdisciplinary artist who lives and works in Providence, RI. Her work navigates between abstraction and representation and is often made through a combination of humble jerry-rigged ingenuity and finely honed professional techniques. She has worked in Professional Fine art printshops on three continents including the Singapore Tyler Print Institute and the Brodsky Center in New Brunswick, NJ. Currently, she is the project manager for Urban Greens Food Co-op. She is on the Governing Board of Directors for Girls Rock! RI and the Advisory Council for Equity Action.
