Annual Holiday Celebration

We welcome friends, families, and first-time visitors to the RISD Museum Associates Annual Holiday Celebration. Join us for cheerful carols and seasonal stories in the galleries, art-making activities, festive refreshments, and—of course—a visit with Santa Claus.

RISD WORKS, the Museum store, is open all day for holiday shopping—featuring unique gift items and artwork created by RISD alumni and faculty. RISD Museum Memberships make great gifts, too! Members enjoy free Museum admission all year and discounts in RISD WORKS and on RISD Continuing Education classes. Gift Memberships can be purchased at the Museum during the celebration, or by visiting

The RISD Museum asks visitors to enter the Museum through the Chace Center at 20 North Main Street. Please note that families are welcome to use strollers, but backpack child carriers are not allowed in the Museum. Backpacks and large bags can be safely stored in Museum lobby lockers.

The Museum’s Annual Holiday Celebration is sponsored by the RISD Museum Associates.
