Exhibition & Program Support

Exhibition and program support from individuals, foundations, and corporations offers significant philanthropic and marketing opportunities.

Exhibition Support

Contributions support the direct costs of exhibitions allowing the Museum to offer affordable admission costs, to secure loans from private and public collections worldwide, and to design an exquisite presentation of these items. Opportunities for support are available at various levels and the Museum will work with you to develop a plan that meets your objectives and budget.

Exhibition sponsors receive prominent exposure and acknowledgement before, during, and after the run of the exhibition. Depending on the level of sponsorship, benefits may include:

  • Name credit in exhibition and program materials, including invitations, exhibition catalogues, signage, press releases, the website and other social media, and mailings to members
  • Complimentary private tours for VIPs and guests
  • Opportunity to host private receptions at the Museum
  • Invitations to the exhibition opening previews and events

For upcoming opportunities for support please see the schedule of upcoming exhibitions.

Program Support

The Museum’s Education Department is a vital link between the RISD Museum and the community. The Museum offers a multitude of educational programming including gallery talks and lectures to school groups, kids and families, teens, adults, educators, and community groups. Through the generosity of our donors these programs can be offered at low or no cost. Contributions in any amount are welcome and provide important, direct support to annual program costs.
