Faculty Forum with David Borgonjon — Political Prints

Join David Borgonjon, former Critic in RISD’s Painting Department, to discuss his research for his 2021-2023 Faculty Fellowship in the RISD Museum’s Prints, Drawing and Photographs Department. He will share his thoughts on the relationship between printing technologies/techniques and political consciousness in anti-fascist print culture, focusing on works in the RISD Museum’s collection, including Chinese communist woodcuts from the 1940s, and silkscreen posters from the US women’s movement in the 1970s.
