In the upper left corner of the verso side of the frame is a small fragment of yellowish material, possibly an old label.To the rightof the fragment is another discoloration that was possibly once where a label was. There is also a group of illegible writings, possibly a number.In the upper center of the verso side of the frame is a rectangular discoloration thatwas possibly once a label. In the lower center of the frame is a rectangular label with beveled corners and red trim on which is written in pen"C12149 / Rhode Island School of Design". In the upper right corner of the verso stretcher are three pinkish remnants of a label.In the lower right corner of the stretcher are remnants of a label with scalloped edges. In the upper portion of the left vertical brace are the remains of a label.On the far left of the horizontal brace are two remnants of a label that has been ripped off.
