Signature / Inscription / Marks

The Bogel entry names the bird as tree sparrow (Passer montanus Linnaeus) and remarks that no other impression of the design appears to exist.The Kobayashi ornithologist confirms the bird as given and the botanist identifies the flowers as koshimpara, roses imported from China.
