The Art of Self-Care
About
For artists, caring for the physical body is crucial to the creative process. Creators invest heart and soul into their work, which in turn impacts the body. Join artist Anabel Vázquez Rodríguez and Doctor of Physical Therapy Angela Lostritto for an informal conversation where they will share insights into caring for artists’ physical health. Prioritizing prevention, maintenance, and consistent care can ensure that artists’ bodies remain functional to carry out the demands of their craft. By taking care of the body, artists can avoid injury and pain while continuing to inspire others for years to come.
