10/6: Indigo BetheaIn connection with the ongoing Locally Made Exhibition at the RISD Museum, I'll be presenting new work, old favorites, a bit of drumming and a few on-the-spot improve poems which include audience participation. This work highlights the darker side of my experiences in life's journey. So be ready for a thought-provoking, soul moving, slightly disturbing hour of Spoken Word! — Indigo Bethea

Marlon Carey is a Poet Educator Actor Communicator Entertainer. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Creative Writing, which he earned at St. Andrews College in Laurinburg, NC under the watchful eye of Prof. Ronald H. Bayes. Carey has written and taught Poetry and Creative Writing for several years in the New England Area and around the country. Currently, Marlon is a member of the poetry theater ensemble Brother's Keeper and maintains a musical persona as smart hop artist Inphynit DaGhost.
