Behind the Scenes with Costume and Textiles

This is a unique opportunity for members to meet curatorial staff, ask questions about the collection, and look closely at objects in our Donghia Costume and Textiles Study Center. Join Laurie Brewer, associate curator of Costume and Textiles, as we examine examples of metallic lace trim and garments from the 16th to the 20th centuries. Items too fragile to place on view in the current Luminous Lace exhibition will be brought out of storage for this special event. Stay later to enjoy additional Third Thursday programming and Waterfire.
