Nicole Eisenman (RISD BFA 1987, Painting) delivers this year's address entitled "My Strugs" recounting 35 years of art therapy. An internationally exhibited artist, Eisenman has been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship, a MacArthur Fellowship, and a Carnegie Prize. Her work includes installations, drawings, animations, and paintings that typically challenge cultural and social norms associated with gender and sexuality and popular culture. Eisenman creates an installation as part of the museum's exhibit Raid the Icebox Now, Tonight we are going out and we are all getting hammered, opening November 1.
