Jess Costanza is a linguist from Pittsburgh, PA — a city whose love for its arts scene she's found vibrantly reflected in Providence. Through fascination with the words we use to describe our experiences, Jess earned her BA in Linguistics from Western Washington University. Prior to this, Jess studied under interdisciplinary teaching/learning practices at The Evergreen State College, where a fateful class trip to the Tacoma Art Museum sparked her curiosity toward museum decolonization and the interplay between artists and observers. She has previously worked in nonprofit arts administration and programming in Providence, and currently works in translation management.
