Pen to paper, brush to canvas, works of art are the result of materials, techniques, and an artist's hand at work. Become acquainted with the ways in which works of art are made in these primer sessions. Explore a range of mediums and tools in the Museum galleries with an artist educator who provides demonstrations and supportive direction as you make your mark. All materials provided, no experience necessary.
Fee: $30, Members: $15. Space limited; registration required.
This program is part of the Pell Humanities initiative in Rhode Island to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
