I chose seven works within the museum collection to create a collage exploring my interest in how different works can be interconnected. I focused on objects depicting Greek and Roman mythology and united them together in a new original piece. By doing this, I seek to showcase how they are linked together by their content and narrative and how by selecting information from each, a new yet congruous work can be made.
This is meant to exemplify how data and information connect individual objects and how a web can be formed between them to provide useful information outside of their specific content. By linking together these related objects, I hope to uncover new information and create a new narrative for my viewer to experience.
