Reverse side: "THE ALCHEMIST" at top, "LE CHEMIST / BY DAVID TENIERS JR" at bottom along rim.

Marks: "GORHAM CO" stamped along bottom edge of medal. "A B CIANFARANI / C" stamped on obverse side along right lower side of factory.
