Label: FRAUEN KIRCHE, NURNBERG, an original etching by John Marin (1872-1954), apparently his 10th plate, is typical of his early work in this medium.The print shows the famous Männleinlaufen clock which is noted for its figures of the seven German electors who come out and move around the figure of the Emperor Charles IV daily at noon.The Liebfrauen Kirche was originally built in 1355-61.
