Presented in conjunction with their exhibition now on view at Memorial Hall, join artists and RISD faculty members Duane Slick and Martin Smick for a conversation moderated by Professor of Liberal Arts Jonathan Highfield and Assistant Professor of Painting Jennifer Packer. The exhibition is part of a collaboration between the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology at Brown University and the RISD Museum at the Rhode Island School of Design focusing on the new and evolving field of object-based teaching and research, made possible by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
