Assembly
About
Put on your best day-look, and join poet Laura Brown-Lavoie and performance/sound artist Kei Cobb for a brunch-time audio tour through the 18th and 19th-Century American furniture rooms of the Museum's Charles Pendleton House. For this one day only, visitors are invited to enjoy imaginary brunch on untouchable tables.
Free, space is limited. Tours begin at 1 pm and 2:30 pm and are 45 minutes long. Space is limited to 10 participants per tour. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 12:30 pm on the 6th floor.
Artists working in a variety of disciplines and mediums share their work in gallery spaces as part of a program series titled Assembly. Framed by the chance juxtapositions of objects on view, these performances present creative interpretations, inclusive practices, and sensory experiments.
