Join poet, picture book creator, and RISD professor Calef Brown for a fun family-friendly mashup of drawing, writing (poetry!), creature, character, and story creation.
Space Is the Place, 11 am-4 pm, Danforth Hall
Enter a magical environment where you will be given the opportunity to make drawings that turn into sound, and then into visual projections. This installation will create space for self-expression and exploration resulting in music and visuals created collaboratively by everyone! Come experience the magic!
We All Dream Together, 11 am-4 pm, Out of Line
Meet six brilliantly creative notable illustrators working today, through their work, and have the opportunity to make collaborative drawings inspired by them and your fellow museum visitors. Take home a zine that tells the story of each of these creators! Artists include the amazing Jen Corace (Providence, Rhode Island) and fabulous Amy Ruppel (Portland, OR)!
