Gerald M. Carbone delivers this year's lecture, "To Handle Silver As Though It Were Putty." Carbone has published three non-fiction books, most recently "Brown & Sharpe and the Measure of American Industry." He completed a John S. Knight Journalism Fellowship at Stanford and earned a master's degree in Public Humanities from Brown University. Carbone served on the Warwick Public Library Board of Trustees and has been a volunteer docent at the John Brown House and at the Lippitt House Museum.
