Publication Launch

Celebrate the launch of desi–gned, New England's first publication for the South Asian diaspora. desi–gned centers native terminology; acts on reviving print and physical knowledge archives; and subverts conventional methods of knowledge transmission to champion for equitable futures on Brown University and RISD's campuses.

This event welcomes those from, and interested, in the South Asian diaspora to connect with authors, artists, faculty, and staff working in the areas of publishing, South Asian studies, and art and design research. Enjoy refreshments and live classical and contemporary South Asian music.
