Office Hours
About
Part of Locally Made's One Room.In Office Hours, artists, designers, experts, and brainiacs take the doors off of their offices and studios. Stop by for conversation or advice.Agata Michalowska will present the process behind her installation titled "in that one moment i can see dust collect on my fingertips". It includes materials that are dyed, stained and printed with indigo. The artist will bring porcelain, paper, cloth, dyed wool and silk. These will be stained with hand mulled indigo ink, scratched, cut, folded, sewn and knotted. Michalowska is interested in the way the labor of hands makes the passage of time visible. — Agata MichalowskaFree with museum admission.Agata Michalowska (born 1984, Warsaw) works with print, paper, textiles, books and installation.
