Former RISD Museum artist fellow Becci Davis will informally present her recent explorations into memories, inspiration, dreams, visions, creations, and manifestations. Their new mixed-media body of work centers on emotional grounding and the concept of home.

Becci Davis (she/they) is an interdisciplinary visual artist who finds inspiration in exploring archives, memory, landscapes and connection to place. She is based in unceded Narragansett land currently known as Providence, Rhode Island but spent the majority of her life on unceded Muscogee land in Georgia. Becci’s birth began her family’s first generation after the Civil Rights Act and its fifth generation post-Emancipation. They are a Lecturer in Brown University’s Department of Visual Art and a member of the WARP Collective.
