Rick Altergott is a Cartoonist/ Illustrator who has drawn and written comic strips and stories for over 25 years. He is known as the creator of the character, "Doofus" who has appeared in comic books, anthologies and Alternative news weeklies through the years. As an Illustrator he has contributed to many publications, including the Los Angeles Times, Seattle Stranger, Believer, Kramers Ergot, SF Weekly, Sponge Bob and many others. He is currently attempting to finish his most ambitious long form comic story featuring Doofus, and will likely be penciling and or laying out the remaining pages of this 100 plus page book.
