About
Imaginary spaces, fictional dimensions, and designed illusions set the stage for inspiration and innovation. Experiment with form and function throughout the galleries and especially at the opening celebration of Drawing Ambience, featuring an iconic group of drawings by some of the most prominent architects and artists of our time. Opportunities to talk with artists, designers, and performers about their techniques and imaginative spirit. Music, refreshments, and more start at 5 pm throughout the Museum galleries.

Join RISD students for a conversation in the galleries about the processes and techniques they use to create art and maintain a studio practice. Learn about the ways students relate to works on view to inform their own creative decisions. Featuring Matthew Bohne (RISD BArch 2015), Abigail Stoner (BArch 2015), Lucy Liu (RISD BArch 2015), Emily Yen (RISD MArch 2015), Suzy González and Michael R. León (both RISD MFA 2015, Painting) and Michael Menchaca (RISD MFA 2015, Printmaking).
