All My Life Like This? depicts the precariousness of daily life in Cuba throughout the early 1990s as a walk on a tightrope. During those years, euphemistically known as the “special period,” Cubans suffered great economic hardship, largely because of the abrupt termination of aid from the collapsing Soviet Union.
