The three-panel huipil, with embroidered seams and neckline, features a red central band with star motifs. A deeper red dominates the adjacent unstitched huipil length featuring alternating bands of diamonds and birds with spread tail feathers; the color combination of red, white, and yellow represents the sacred rainy season and fertility. Birds also face each other in the yellow and blue wide huipil length.
