The Bogel entry remarks that a print illustrated Christie's, New York (April 1987), lot 254 has yellow rather than the brown shading at the top of this print and a square Ichiryûsai seal after the signature. The Vever catalogue cited below has the same gourd-shaped seal as this example. The Ainsworth Collection print lacks either seal so is considered a later impression.
