Verso: stamped with the collector's marks of Peter Lely (London, 1618-1680; Lugt 2093) [possibly forged]; of Arthur Friederich Theodor Bohnenberger (Stuttgart, 1826-1893; Lugt 680 [partially erased]; and of J. Barnes Burt (Bath, d. 1953; Lugt 382b)

Inscribed in pen and ink with the collector's mark of Nathaniel Smith (London, second half of the 18th century; Lugt 2298) [probably forged]

Watermark: Strasbourg Lily (Hinterding E'.a.a.)
