These ornamental end pages are heavily embellished with gold and what is probably ultramarine—expensive materials that emphasize the importance of the book they once belonged to. At the center, Farsi text has been so skillfully embedded into the decoration, it becomes indiscernible without close looking. This cleverly incorporated text is likely a dedication.
