White oval label affixed to verso, bottom right corner with an inscription in ink:[Japanese Characters][text and poems] The Chinese inscription associates the peony with wealth (fu) and lofty position (ki): The peony has the fragrance of wealth and positionand is signed Yusai (an artist's name of Hiroshige)
