Label: Label on rear seat rail:This old William and Mary chair was made about 1725.It is supposed to have been handed down by inheritance to Moses Richardson(1775-1859) who was born in Attleboro, moved to Providence in 1803, owned and died in the house on Benevolent street at first back of the Parish House of Dr. Lord's Unitarian Church.The chair continued in the Richardson family until 1915, when Miss Richardson sold it to Eliot Flint, both of Providence, RI
