For Pozzi, the physical, emotional, and psychological process that goes into the creation of the work of art holds equal importance to the final product. In this untitled offset lithograph, he mixed the printing inks in the tray of the rotary press to create the color gradient, yielding an infinite number of chromatic variations for each print in what he called a “printing performance.”
