AAMD Art Museum Day 2015 at the RISD Museum
The RISD Museum is proud to participate in the sixth-annual Association of Art Museum Directors' (AAMD) Art Museum Day on May 17, joining about 180 other AAMD member museums across North America in underscoring the critical role art museums play as cultural resources, and celebrating the unique opportunities AAMD member museums offer visitors to engage with works of art.

Adventure and discovery await! Explore the RISD Museum's five building, dozens of galleries, and many thousands of objects from near and far, from antiquity to the present day. RISD WORKS, the RISD Museum shop, extends the RISD Museum member discount to members of any museum on AAMD Art Museum Day—Sunday, May 17—in appreciation of your support for museums worldwide. To receive the 10% discount on merchandise, simply show any valid museum membership card to a RISD WORKS sales associate. Family See & Sketch: Drawing Ambience

Family members of all ages enjoy drawing, sketching, creative art making, and discussions—inspired by original works of art in the RISD Museum's major spring exhibition, Drawing Ambience: Alvin Boyarsky and the Architectural Association.
