Art + Design Lab for High School Students

These free classes for high school students explore how art and design provoke fresh ideas, elicit conversation, and stimulate creativity. Each monthly session focuses on specific themes and techniques and is led by Artist-Educators. Classes are free but sign up is required.
February Session: Art + Imitation: Homage and Appropriation in Creative Practice
This class will explore the ethics and practice of how artists are inspired by (and sometimes steal!) from one another. A journey of iterative processes, copying, and collaboration will help students navigate the fine line between inspiration and appropriation.
