Get your creative groove on in this
zine-making session for teens! Create your own postcards using block printing
methods — perfect for sending to friends (and enemies), near and far!
Printmaker Marius Keo Marjolin will lead this relaxed session where you can
learn new tools and techniques for printing your designs.
Snacks and
materials will be provided. Join us for the entire time, or hang out for
however long you can! We will gather in Common Room, right next to the museum
entrance on 20 North Main St.
Marius Keo Marjolin is a
queer Khmerican printmaker based in Providence, RI. They graduated from the
Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Printmaking in 2021. They are a
Teaching Artist at CityArts and a member of Binch Press + Queer.Archive.Work, a
cooperatively run printshop and zine library.
Free for current high school
students. All experience levels are welcome. No registration required
