Nicholas Johnson speaks about Kutahya's lively 18th century polychrome pottery, made chiefly by Armenian Christians in a Muslim society, as well as the revival of the craft around 1875, and the market for the pottery today. Nicholas Johnson is a retired psychologist who developed his interest in ceramics through his schooling in England in the 1970's.
