Lecture

Stuart Slavid, Senior Vice President of Skinner Auctioneers, specializing in European Furniture and Decorative Arts, Ceramics and Silver presents a lecture on Fairyland Lusterware which was designed by Daisy Makeig-Jones and produced by Wedgewood in the early 20th Century. Slavid is internationally recognized as one of the foremost authorities on Wedgwood pottery, and other English ceramics. As a leading auctioneer and general appraiser at Skinner, he can be seen regularly on the PBS series Antiques Roadshow. He belongs to a number of professional organizations and is on the board of directors of the American Ceramic Circle.
