Out of Line Drawing Studio with Jean Blackburn

Start from scratch or hone your practice at this weekly lunchtime drawing studio. Each session features a different artist-led prompt. This program takes place in Out of Line, an Workshops and Studios: Open Studio space accompanying the exhibition Lines of Thought: Drawing from Michelangelo to Now, which explores the vital role of drawing as a continual and active process of discovery. Materials provided, no drawing experience required!
This week's host: Jean Blackburn. Jean has been teaching at RISD since 1982 as a member of the Illustration Department. Her work, both painting and sculpture, addresses the domestic setting and its power to shape or reflect our understanding of the world.
