Start from scratch or hone your practice at this weekly lunchtime drawing studio. Each session features a different artist-led prompt. This program takes place in Out of Line, an Workshops and Studios: Open Studio space accompanying the exhibition Lines of Thought: Drawing from Michelangelo to Now, which explores the vital role of drawing as a continual and active process of discovery. Materials provided, no drawing experience required!
This week's host: Simonette Quamina. Simonette is an artist and educator whose studio practice focuses on large-scale drawings and prints. She has a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design.
