Engage in weaving and storytelling across various museum galleries to explore the interplay between imagination, memory, and the limitations of communication. Led by Iris Wright. Drop-In. Free. Iris Wright (xe/xem/xyr) is a multimedia artist working in book arts, textiles, performance, and much more. Xe makes art that is worn, spoken, and touched to discuss communication’s shortcomings. Iris works and lives in Providence, and is a founding member of the artist collective abcpvd (Art Book Collective, Providence) where xe organizes events and spaces that activate community through interactive art.
