About
In the Medieval and Renaissance eras, much of the art created was for use in churches. Join Maureen O'Brien, curator of painting and sculpture, for a look at some of these works on view in our galleries. The Church was also involved in the making of wine, beer and liquor. Monks have been producing beer for 1,500 years, and in that time, they have revolutionized and perfected the beer-making process. Following the talk, the Bottles Fine Wine beer expert team will walk you through five of the best Trappist ales made in monasteries around the world.
Registration required. This is a 21 and over event.
