A longtime advocate of radical wardrobe strategies, Kate Sekules started writing about “dressing green” in 1992, founded the first ever closet sharing site, Refashioner, and sits on the advisory board of the Ethical Fashion Forum and Common Objective, UK, and the New Standard Institute, New York. She writes and lectures on mending for both academic and general audiences, and her book, Mend! The Clothes Revolution Stitch by Stitch will be published by Penguin in 2020.
