Writing Between the Lines

This interactive workshop invites you to discover how works of art can spark meaningful connections through writing. Immersed in the exhibition Liz Collins: Motherlode, you’ll explore its vivid imagery and layered materiality through short, creative writing exercises paired with dynamic visual strategies. Join a welcoming community of K–12 and informal learning educators, as well as both new and experienced writers, as we experiment, reflect, and create together. 

A PD Certificate of Attendance is available for K-12 educators.

At 3pm, participants are also invited to stay for a special panel discussion on Queer Art featuring authors and designers and moderated by artist Liz Collins. Learn more here.
