Edition
The first edition published by Wakasaya; the collection has an impression of the second state by Sanoya Kihei which lacks the censor's seal, gauffrage and blue ground of this example; the latter has a yellow ground; Bogel entry notes that this print was copied by the Osaka artist Hasegawa Sadanobu in the 1850s with many differences (see Christie's, London, March 1986, lot 115).
