27 October 1928 sold as shared sale by De Hauke, Reid, Bignou and Thannhauser to Dorothy Sturges, Providence (USD 8,000), 15 November 1928 half share (USD 4,000) received by Galerien Thannhauser;
after her death in 1933, heir of Dorothy Sturges, her brother Howard Sturges; 1935 bequest to her friend Elizabeth Hudson, Syracuse; 18 October 1935 her gift to Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, Providence.
